Differentiate SAP enviornments

As an end user, key user or consultant we are often into situations where we are working simultaneously in different SAP environments like in development, quality, production, etc.. There is always a probability that we might do our testing or development (of course if authorizations allow) in production environment which could be catastrophic. To avoid this situation we can differentiate our environments with colors.

This could be easily done by navigating into “customize local layout” in the session manager followed by clicking options. Under visual design folder we have color settings that system or for different clients under that system. Select a unique color for your production environment (in this case we are selecting SAP Green for production).

Save it, log-off and log-in in your system again.
